Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Support
The level of support provided to Clients can vary greatly and are tailor made to
meet their business needs. We aim to offer a service that reduces the administrative
tasks associated with maintaining a documented management system against ever changing
railway Standards and Regulations, which includes internal auditing. This allows
our Clients more time to concentrate on the day to day business of running their
businesses and tendering for new works. Our services also reduces the stress involved
in the annual Lin-Up Audit, by ensuring the documentation is up to date, and by checking
that our Customers are generating the right records throughout the year.
Typically, we offer an annual SHEQ support services that includes:
- Quarterly review and notification of changes to relevant railway Standards and health
& safety and environmental regulations
- Quarterly review and update of the management system
- Development of additional policies, procedures and forms necessary for the business
- Update the controlled document register and external document master list
- Supply of the necessary document templates to manage management meeting and performance
reporting
- Internal management system audits, which are designed to keep you on track through
the year
- Unlimited advice by phone and email
- Advice in the preparation for the RISQS Audit
- Representation during the RISQS Audit
These services may be expanded to include more frequent visits and a number of Clients
require monthly planned visits to their offices and sites, to undertake a wider range
of hands-on SHEQ services and to represent the Customer during ISO Certification
Audits.
Additional works not covered by our agreed support contract are charged either on
a daily or hourly rate to keep costs down. These additional services may include,
but are not limited to:
- Accident and incident investigations
- Site and depot inspections
- Support in completing Supplier Questionnaires
- Plan and conduct supplier audits
- Represent and support my Customers during their Client’s audits
- Fire risk assessments and inspections
- Display screen assessments
- Method statements and work package plans,
- Site specific risk assessments
- COSHH assessments
- Environmental assessments
