Asbestos Awareness

Our Asbestos awareness course is aimed at tradesmen and managers, and is based on training material produced by the Health & Safety Executive. The course explains what asbestos is, how it was extensively used within the construction industry, where it can be found in the workplace, the dangers and how lives are affected by asbestos related diseases. It also covers the actions to taken when asbestos is found on-site and what work can be carried out by trained staff with the right protective equipment.

The course duration is approximately 4 hours long, depending on candidate participation. Training is usually carried out at our Essex based training centre, although courses maybe run at the Customer’s premises, with a minimum class size of six candidates and a maximum of twelve candidates for each course. Cost per candidate is £30 + VAT. A training certificate shall be issued to each candidate, which does not have a expiry date.
